About Julie

As Chief Marketing Officer Julie is responsible for all aspects of the firm’s marketing, communications and BD activities.

Since joining the firm in the summer of 2017, Julie has focused on building and developing a team of highly engaged professionals to support the firm, including launching a market-first graduate trainee scheme for BD and marketing. The wide-ranging remit of the team includes business development, brand and design, client listening and management, corporate hospitality and events, internal and external communications, press and public relations and BD technology and systems.

Prior to joining Travers Smith, Julie undertook several consulting and interim positions with a number of UK and international law firms. Julie’s experience spans business strategy and management, marketing and communications, and business development. She has managed large teams within the UK and internationally and has held director positions in both corporates and professional services organisations.
